We are seeking a part-time Customer Engagement Specialist to enhance our Newton branch. The Customer Engagement Specialist (CES) is responsible for identifying and supporting sales opportunities while delivering outstanding customer service. This role involves proactively building positive relationships and addressing our members' product and service requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Welcome customers, build rapport, address service inquiries and concerns, and identify opportunities to strengthen customer relationships.
  2. Actively seek opportunities to showcase our value proposition, identify needs, and suggest suitable solutions.
  3. Direct customers to other team members and business partners as necessary, ensuring a seamless and rewarding customer experience.
  4. Assist members with personal banking needs through discovery conversations and facilitate the opening of new products such as personal and business accounts, term deposits, and other banking services.
  5. Ensure an exceptional member experience by providing support for other team members as needed.
  6. Engage in sales meetings and maintain accurate records of sales and service activities in the customer relationship management system.
  7. Support and engage in community initiatives.
Qualifications:
  1. Prior experience in banking, credit unions, or advisory sales with a strong desire to advance in the financial services sector.
  2. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation abilities.
  3. A strong capacity and enthusiasm for learning, a collaborative team spirit, and a genuine desire to assist others.
  4. Proficient in computer skills.
