Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Customer Engagement Specialist who is passionate about improving the financial well-being of our members and possesses a strong background in both sales and customer service.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you will operate under direct supervision to facilitate a range of financial and non-financial transactions for our esteemed members, ensuring compliance with established protocols. Your role will be pivotal in fulfilling our mission to foster relationships that enhance financial health, enrich lives, and cultivate thriving communities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Efficiently processing various transactions to cater to our members' needs.
  • Delivering sales and service insights to inform members about new offerings and updates to existing services.
  • Handling telephone inquiries with professionalism.
  • Assisting members with access to safety deposit boxes.
  • Completing end-of-day processing and balancing in accordance with established procedures.
  • Executing additional related tasks as assigned.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for individuals with:

  • A secondary school diploma with a focus on academics.
  • One year of post-secondary education.
  • Up to one year of experience in a sales and service role.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • Keyboarding skills of at least 40 wpm and familiarity with computer terminology, along with proficiency in Windows applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, allowing for clear and concise information transfer to members.
  • Strong listening skills to engage members effectively and identify their immediate financial needs.
  • The capability to multitask, utilizing keyboarding and internet navigation skills while interacting with members.
  • Interviewing skills with the ability to ask insightful questions and adapt to various member inquiries.
