Position Overview: The Client Relations Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional and courteous customer support. This position involves assisting customers at the check-in counter and through telephone inquiries, ensuring that all interactions are handled with professionalism and efficiency while upholding the company's customer service standards.

Location: This is a part-time role based in Sudbury, ON & North Bay ON.

Responsibilities:

  • Address customer inquiries and complaints both in-person and over the phone regarding ticket prices, flight schedules, and operational procedures with sound judgment and diplomacy.
  • Calculate ticket costs and issue baggage receipts; collect fees and provide customers with necessary documentation.
  • Prepare and submit daily sales reports to the accounting department, including cash handling.
  • Assist customers at the check-in counter or via phone by adhering to company policies and procedures related to customer service, including booking flights and managing passenger information.
  • Provide accurate flight manifests and necessary paperwork to flight crews.
  • Monitor company aircraft movements using the Flight Operations Program.
  • Welcome and assist arriving customers, facilitating their boarding process.
  • Support customers during irregular operations, such as flight rebookings and providing meal vouchers.
  • Contribute to optimal customer service levels by coordinating daily tasks and breaks as directed by supervisors.
  • Propose ideas for improving departmental efficiency and enhancing customer service delivery.
  • Act as a cargo acceptance agent in locations where none are present.
  • Engage actively in the Company's Safety Management System.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain relevant transportation security clearances.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Previous experience in customer service is an asset.
  • Experience with Airline Reservation Software Systems is preferred.
  • Training in Indigenous and Cultural Awareness is considered beneficial.

Working Conditions:

  • Physically capable of performing all job duties.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Manual dexterity for operating a computer and telephone.
  • Work conducted in both indoor and outdoor settings; adaptability to various weather conditions is necessary.
  • Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts in a fast-paced environment.
