Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Wendy's. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are trained and equipped to provide it.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food safety and quality standards are met.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting expectations.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure they are meeting their performance goals.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, staff, and management.
    • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and coach staff to achieve their best.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
    • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform other physical demands of the job.
