REAL ESTATE PORTFOLIO COORDINATOR:

POSITION OVERVIEW

Under the guidance of the designated supervisor, the Real Estate Portfolio Coordinator (REPC) offers essential assistance to tenants and Real Estate Portfolio Managers (REPMs) concerning all related programs and services. This includes calculations of rent, annual assessments, scheduling, and upkeep of housing inventory, along with other pertinent services. The REPC aids in the initial organization of tenant records, ensuring accurate documentation of rents, subsidies, and services, while maintaining files in accordance with established protocols and BC Housing's systems and databases. The role involves analyzing and interpreting tenant and housing records to guarantee precision and initiating corrective measures when required.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Completion of high school along with several post-secondary courses in business, program administration, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Significant progressive experience in a similar environment.
  • Or a suitable combination of education, training, and experience acceptable to the Employer.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the rules, practices, and procedures related to business and program administration.
  • Proficient in office systems and operational procedures.
  • Skilled in computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Strong typing skills with a minimum speed of 50 wpm.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage files and organize confidential documents.
  • Competence in handling sensitive situations and challenging conversations.
  • Capacity to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Aptitude for thriving in a fast-paced and frequently changing environment.
  • Ability to creatively investigate and resolve problems within established regulations.
  • Proactive and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
  • Skill in accurately interpreting financial documents from tenants.
  • Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Quick learner of computer applications and administrative tasks.
  • Criminal Record Check required.
