Role Summary:

This is a permanent, part-time role based in Calgary or Montreal.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for making pricing decisions for all our brands nationwide, operating 7 days a week during specified hours.

Pricing responsibilities encompass but are not limited to:
daily market assessments, considerations for regulated areas, volume metrics, margin evaluations, market trends, tactical adjustments, and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Pricing Management:

Analyzing surveys submitted by stations to our pricing system.

This includes reviewing proposed prices, the pricing strategy for each site, current fuel margins, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while questioning any outlier prices.

Addressing all inquiries from internal teams and external partners.


Customer Service - Phone Interactions:

Handling incoming and outgoing calls.

This involves communication with team members as well as stations regarding pricing, system issues, and verifying the accuracy of price surveys.



Customer Service - Email Correspondence:

Managing various requests submitted to our shared mailbox, directing those that require action by other team members, and addressing those related to pricing.

Requests may include site openings/closures, pricing discrepancies, system malfunctions, mobile app issues, fuel shortages, etc.



Daily Pricing – Price Resets:

Establishing reset prices for daily market resets across the country.

This task involves entering prices into an Excel spreadsheet, communicating via email to relevant recipients, and inputting prices into our pricing platform for distribution to stations.



Backup Responsibilities:
Handling regulated pricing, managing various reports, overseeing site openings/closures, ensuring compliance with site surveys, etc. When needed, training to serve as a backup for Price Coordinators.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
  • Proficient in computer software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Tableau)
  • Adaptable to a dynamic work environment
  • Bilingual proficiency is essential
  • Analytical skills are advantageous
  • Experience in customer service is beneficial
