Role Summary:

This is a permanent, part-time role based in Calgary or Montreal.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for making pricing determinations for all our brands across the country, operating 7 days a week from early morning until late at night.

Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:
daily market evaluations, compliance with regulations, volume assessments, margin analysis, market trends, tactical adjustments, and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Pricing Management:

Evaluating pricing surveys submitted by stations to our pricing system.

This involves scrutinizing submitted prices, the pricing strategy for each site, current fuel margins, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while addressing any discrepancies in market pricing.

Engage with internal teams and external partners as needed.

Customer Support - Phone Communications:

Handling incoming and outgoing calls.

This includes inquiries from team members as well as site-related calls concerning pricing, system issues, and verifying the accuracy of price surveys.


Customer Support - Email Management:

Assessing various requests submitted to our shared email inbox, forwarding those that require action from other team members, and addressing those related to pricing.

Requests may include site openings/closures, pricing discrepancies, system malfunctions, mobile app issues, fuel shortages, etc.


Daily Pricing – Price Resetting:

Establishing reset prices for daily market adjustments nationwide.

This task includes entering prices into an Excel spreadsheet, sending notifications to relevant recipients, and updating our pricing platform for distribution to stations.


Backup Responsibilities:
Managing regulated pricing, generating various reports, overseeing site openings/closures, ensuring compliance with site surveys, etc. When necessary, receiving training to serve as a backup for Price Coordinators.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
  • Proficient in software applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Tableau)
  • Highly adaptable to a dynamic work environment
  • Bilingual proficiency is essential
  • Analytical skills are a plus
  • Experience in customer service is advantageous
