**Job Summary:**

Vintage Hotels is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to our team members and department managers across our properties.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent in the hospitality industry.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and participate in job fairs and networking events to promote our brand and attract potential candidates.
  • Manage and analyze labor turnover statistics, training progress, and other key performance indicators to inform business decisions.
  • Design and deliver interactive training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our team members, including orientation and service culture training.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new team members, including enrollment in company training modules and monitoring progress.
  • Develop and implement social media content to promote our company culture and attract potential candidates.
  • Participate in monthly health and safety committee meetings and ensure follow-up items are actioned.
  • Manage workplace safety and insurance board claims and facilitate return-to-work programs as needed.
  • Assist with the coordination and oversight of our health and safety program.
  • Conduct exit interviews and track stay interviews to inform business decisions.
  • Track and follow up with managers on team member probationary reviews.
  • Assist with planning and executing company team member events to promote a positive company culture.

**Professional Requirements:**

  • 3 years of experience in an HR progressive role, with hospitality experience an asset.
  • Post-graduate degree in Human Resources, CHRP required, with a desire to progress towards CHRL.
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation, including Employment Standards Act, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, and Ontario Human Rights Code.
  • Strong desire to develop and progress in the HR field.
