_Human Resource Specialist _
Aisin Canada Inc. (ACI) manufactures a range of tier
- 1automotive products for Toyota and Lexus models. These products include sunroofs, doorframes, moldings, power back door, touch sensor and center pillar garnish.

The Human Resources Specialist provides specialized support for human resource-related operations, typically in one of the following specialty areas: recruiting, compensation, communications, employee development, orientation and training, organizational development, and employee services.

This position will focus primarily on recruitment and selection and will also require assistance in all other facets of Human Resources.

**Employee Engagement/Communication/ Special Events**
- Organize events and fundraising activities
- Supports TM concerns/ investigate TM complaints
- Rec Committee/Social events
- Assist with offsite events i.e.: Earth day clean up, Christmas parties
- Employee vehicle discounts and rebates information
- Memos -creation and posting
- Collection of money for various activities (Christmas party, golf tournament.)
- TM shirts and employee clothing requests/ordering/distribution
- Gifts/service awards/letters/distribution of gifts/updating plaques
- Distribution of TM birthday cards to depts.
- Organizing on site meals for special occasions; returning on afternoon shift to support caterer if needed
- Problem solving and communication with all Team Members
- Help sustain improvements/ communication/ behaviour
- Provide constructive feedback

**Recruitment**
- Personnel requisitions
- Review resumes and review manpower needs from all departments
- Create job postings (hourly and salary positions) using various websites
- Conduct, organize and lead team member orientation
- Organize and assemble employee files
- Activate employee security access cards, and hand scan
- Set up and maintain employee profile on Dayforce platform and internal database

**Other**
- Backup support for Payroll and Benefits
- Office supplies for the plant
- Organizing access cards for visitors
- Tuition reimbursements for team members
- Prepare/attend/take minutes for monthly Employee Relations Committee meetings

**Skills and Experience**
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Products.
- Minimum of 2-3 years previous experience in a similar HR role
- Previous experience in an automotive and/or manufacturing setting is preferred.

**Education**
- College diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar discipline required. Equivalent experience and training will be considered.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $61,200.00 per year
