Laboratory Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Support I General to join our team at Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support services and rotate through all areas in the Stratford Laboratory, including Core Lab, Histology, and Microbiology.
- Perform phlebotomy, patient registration, media inoculation, IHLP supply inventory, histology slide labeling, distribution, filing, and tissue disposal.
- Work under the supervision of Charge Technologists and collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Medical Laboratory Assistant/Technician Certification
- Graduate of an accredited MLA training program and having successfully completed the CSMLS or MLPAO MLA examination
- Recent related experience in a similar setting preferred
