Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Cooper Standard. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes, and will play a key role in maintaining our company's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and initiatives, and with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Understand and implement the Plant's quality policies, procedures, and initiatives, and ensure compliance with the ISO-9001:2015 Standard.
  • Conduct inspections, measurements, and tests to ensure product quality and accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection and testing records, and ensure proper implementation and control of inspection and testing activities.
  • Identify and implement corrective actions to address non-conforming products, and recommend improvements to processes and procedures.
  • Liaise with other departments to provide prompt responses to customer inquiries, and support the Plant's continual improvement and ISO programs.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of CMM, Camera Gage, PLV, etc.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Superior organization and time management skills.
