Project Engagement Specialist

Position Overview:
The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enhancing physician engagement initiatives and managing various project activities within the Strategic Zone Recruitment Service. Key responsibilities encompass:
- Directly engaging with and managing inquiries from physician leads and applicants.
- Participating in exhibitions and conferences for local and regional recruitment events.
- Developing and overseeing regional and international recruitment outreach campaigns.
- Managing third-party recruitment agreements and formulating effective engagement strategies.
- Collaborating with Medical Affairs teams to identify, share, and implement best practices in recruitment.
This hybrid role combines project management with external engagement, requiring effective liaison with Medical Affairs teams to prioritize recruitment needs, devise and execute recruiting strategies, and assess their outcomes. The Project Coordinator will cultivate relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to foster a collaborative recruitment atmosphere. Additionally, this role involves managing inquiries from foreign physicians interested in relocating to Canada, as well as recent Canadian medical graduates or practicing physicians exploring opportunities in Alberta.

Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree in communications, business, or a related field, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Experience:
Five to seven years of related experience is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with the physician recruitment landscape and a solid understanding of Medical Affairs or recruitment processes. Proven ability to build networks with diverse stakeholders to address complex challenges. Capacity to identify and act on opportunities for quality enhancement within established projects and processes. Proficiency in working independently and managing change effectively.
