Physician Engagement Project Manager

Position Overview:
The role is pivotal in managing physician engagement initiatives and overseeing project activities within the Strategic Zone Recruitment Service. Key responsibilities include:
- Directly engaging with and managing physician leads, inquiries, and applicants.
- Participating in exhibitions and conferences for local and regional recruitment events.
- Establishing and managing outreach campaigns for both regional and international recruitment.
- Overseeing third-party recruitment agreements and developing effective engagement strategies.
- Collaborating with Medical Affairs teams to identify, disseminate, and implement best practices in recruitment.
The Project Coordinator position is a hybrid role that encompasses both project management and external engagement with recruitment leads. Responsibilities include:
- Liaising with Medical Affairs teams to identify and prioritize recruitment needs.
- Planning and implementing effective recruiting strategies while evaluating their outcomes.
- Building and nurturing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster a collaborative recruitment environment.
- Managing inquiries from foreign physicians interested in relocating as well as recent Canadian medical graduates or practicing physicians seeking opportunities.
This position reports to the Manager of Central Zone Medical Affairs, with functional leadership provided by the Lead of Physician Recruitment and Engagement. The role may also involve overseeing the work of assigned project team members.
Required Qualifications:
A post-secondary degree in communications, business, or a related field is essential, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Five to seven years of related experience is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with the physician recruitment landscape and demonstrated knowledge of Medical Affairs or recruitment processes is advantageous. A proven track record of building networks with diverse stakeholders to address complex challenges is essential. Candidates should possess the ability to identify and act on opportunities for quality improvement within established projects and processes, work independently and self-directively, and understand and apply change management principles effectively.
