Position Overview

As an Event Planning Specialist at Michaels, you will be responsible for orchestrating and managing a variety of events, ensuring that each occasion is enjoyable and memorable for all participants. Key Responsibilities

  • Event Management: Organize and oversee multiple events simultaneously, including children's parties and craft workshops.

  • Instruction and Facilitation: Guide participants through craft projects, offering demonstrations and engaging activities.
  • Event Logistics: Implement additional services such as party favors and decorations, adhering to company standards.
  • Communication: Maintain clear communication with clients and team members regarding event details.
  • Administrative Duties: Handle correspondence, phone inquiries, and necessary paperwork efficiently.
  • Adaptability: Modify event plans based on client feedback and requirements.
  • Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety protocols before, during, and after events.

Customer Service Excellence

  • Assist customers in locating products and provide tailored solutions.
  • Deliver a swift and friendly checkout experience.
  • Promote the benefits of loyalty programs and assist with enrollments.
  • Support various retail processes, including online order pickups.
  • Participate in inventory management and merchandising tasks.
  • Contribute to maintaining store organization and presentation.
