Team Overview

The Global Banking and Markets Engineering division is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Manager of Business Analysis (Derivatives Technology) to oversee significant multi-disciplinary initiatives aimed at delivering solutions to business requirements, while providing ongoing support to all assigned units on a global scale. The selected candidate will be expected to lead direct reports in the future and collaborate effectively with various teams to introduce new functionalities to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently tackle complex, multifaceted challenges to fulfill the business needs of our Rates Derivatives sector, utilizing advanced financial and technological expertise to design methodologies, models, and systems solutions.
  • Oversee multi-disciplinary projects to deliver solutions to business challenges, which includes planning, resource allocation, scheduling, defining business requirements and processes, and crafting detailed project plans.
  • Provide comprehensive business support to all global units, encompassing both new and existing products, deal structuring, user training, and the design and implementation of system enhancements.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of our business strategies, policies, risk management practices, product offerings, financial markets, and technology.
  • Effectively manage and mentor business analysis personnel by establishing performance expectations, monitoring outcomes, and providing constructive feedback.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in requirement gathering and business analysis.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a team of business analysts.
  • Prior exposure to financial instruments, particularly OTC derivative products.
  • Strong understanding of current electronic data processing practices and system development methodologies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
