About the Role

Cari is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Business Analysis to lead our Digital Product and Experience team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving excellence in requirements gathering, documentation, information management, and business analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Manage a team of Business Analysts, providing coaching and education on best practices to ensure high-performance results.
  2. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates your team, fostering an inclusive work environment and communicating vision, values, and business strategy.
  3. Business Analysis: Lead the team to provide high-quality professional services to clients, understanding their business needs across complex and multi-disciplinary initiatives.
  4. Deliverables: Ensure Business Analysis team deliverables are clearly, accurately, and thoroughly documented and understood for system and process changes.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Drive the continuous improvement and strategy of Cari's business analysis chapter, spanning people, processes, methods, tools, and technologies.
  6. Client Focus: Champion a client-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  7. Solution Alignment: Ensure solutions align with the strategic direction of the organization, improving operational efficiency, reducing operating risk, and delivering quality service.
  8. Knowledge Development: Develop a sound knowledge of Cari's systems, external vendor processes, and tools, as well as current processes and procedures.
  9. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with other Cari IT team members and external stakeholders to improve the quality of practices consistent with overall Cari strategic and operational objectives.
  10. Regulatory Compliance: Understand and comply with the Regulatory Compliance Framework, including the Anti-Money Laundering/Anti-Terrorist Financing and Sanctions Policy.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 5-10 years of business or operational analysis experience, with at least 5 years in a management-level position.
  2. Education: Completion of a post-secondary business/technology/systems or related area degree is required, or equivalent work experience.
  3. Agile Environment: Previous experience operating in an Agile environment and possessing an Agile mindset.
  4. Financial Services: Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
  5. Digital Organization: Experience in a Digital organization is an asset.
  6. Business Analysis Leadership: Demonstrated business analysis leadership and experience in large, cross-functional enterprise initiatives within a fast-paced environment.
  7. IIBA BABOK: Active participation and in-depth knowledge of the International Institute for Business Analysis (IIBA) BABOK is considered an asset.
  8. Project Management: Direct project management experience and/or education is considered an asset.
  9. Technical Background: Technical background is considered an asset.
