The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to provide administrative support to the Deputy Minister's Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Deputy Minister, Assistant Deputy Ministers, and other staff in the Ministry.
  • Type, format, and proofread sensitive and confidential documents, including general correspondence, briefing materials, budget documents, and reports.
  • Plan, schedule, and organize meetings and events, including travel and event logistics.
  • Maintain the Deputy Minister's Office filing using the ARMS system.
  • Coordinate and process Minister and Deputy Minister referrals, ensuring timely responses.
  • Provide leadership and advice to other staff on government processes and standards.
  • Lead by example on the Ministry's culture and values.

Requirements:

  • Good organizational skills to coordinate and process referrals.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve issues daily.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Confidence in responding to public inquiries.
  • Typically obtained through formal education and extensive experience in a senior administrative position.

Working Environment:

  • A - MANAGEMENT SUPPORT GROUP Office 36.
  • One day off every two weeks.
