Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Property Management Assistant to manage and oversee our residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in property management, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and a proactive problem-solving approach. As a Property Management Assistant, your responsibilities will include ensuring properties are well-maintained, tenant satisfaction, and achieving financial performance aligned with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Maintenance: Supervise and coordinate maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring properties are maintained to high standards. Schedule regular inspections and promptly address any issues that arise.
  • Tenant Relations: Serve as the primary contact for tenants. Respond to inquiries, manage complaints, and resolve disputes in a professional and timely manner. Build positive relationships with tenants to encourage lease renewals.
  • Leasing and Marketing: Oversee the leasing process, including marketing available properties, conducting property showings, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements. Aim to maximize occupancy rates.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in property management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in property management, preferably in residential or commercial environments.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Property Manager (CPM) or Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) are preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage emergencies and make quick decisions
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Other Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as necessary
