Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Management Assistant to support the administration and oversight of our residential properties. The successful candidate will possess a solid foundation in property management, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and a proactive mindset towards resolving issues. In this role, you will ensure that properties are maintained to high standards, tenants are content, and financial objectives align with company expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Maintenance: Manage and coordinate maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring properties remain in optimal condition. Schedule regular inspections and promptly address any arising issues.
  • Tenant Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for tenants. Respond to inquiries, manage complaints, and resolve conflicts in a professional manner. Cultivate positive relationships with tenants to promote lease renewals.
  • Leasing and Marketing: Oversee the leasing process, which includes marketing available units, conducting property showings, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements. Strive to maximize occupancy rates.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in property management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in property management, ideally in residential or commercial environments.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Property Manager (CPM) or Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) are preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to manage emergencies and make swift decisions
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Other Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as necessary
