Position Overview

The Client Relationship Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing customer interactions and driving sales within a designated territory. This position requires regular in-person engagements with current clients, enhancing existing accounts, and reaching out to potential customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Performance (50%):
    • Conduct site visits to nurture customer relationships.
    • Gain comprehensive knowledge of client equipment.
    • Demonstrate expert understanding of product offerings.
    • Initiate contact with prospective clients.
    • Follow up with leads and existing customers.
  • Customer Engagement (35%):
    • Establish and maintain robust client relationships.
    • Address customer issues and escalate to the relevant experts for resolution.
    • Inform clients about new and improved products and services.
  • Market Development (15%):
    • Utilize data analytics and marketing strategies to create effective sales campaigns.
    • Implement a personalized territory management plan.
    • Expand service offerings in various sectors.
    • Actively seek and incorporate customer feedback.
    • Maintain up-to-date records in Customer Relationship Management software.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Perform other tasks as assigned by the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 8-10 years of experience in industrial equipment replacement or engineered solutions.
  • Mechanical aptitude and direct sales experience are essential.
  • Experience in the relevant market is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with pulp and paper mills, industrial sites, oil and gas facilities, or utility sectors is beneficial.
  • Experience in unionized construction services and plant turnaround planning is a plus.
  • Demonstrated qualities include action-orientation, resilience, collaboration, customer focus, and accountability.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and align plans effectively.
  • Technical proficiency is required.
