Position Overview

The role of the Food Service Supervisor at JJBG Holdings Inc involves overseeing the daily operations of food preparation and service, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules effectively.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff engaged in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff regarding job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Prepare financial budgets and cost estimates for operations.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Compile and submit operational reports as required.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the culinary genres relevant to the establishment.
  • Oversee the assembly of food trays to ensure accuracy and presentation.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervision of 1 to 10 staff members, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.

Work Environment
  • Fast-paced setting requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physically demanding tasks are involved.
