Position Overview

The role of the Food Service Supervisor at Rusty's at Blue involves overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment. This position requires a strong leader who can manage staff effectively while ensuring the highest standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role
Work Environment

The supervisor will work in a fast-paced restaurant setting, requiring the ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols
  • Assess ingredient and supply needs for meal preparation
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service
  • Prepare financial budgets and cost estimates
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
  • Compile and submit reports as required
  • Supervise the assembly of food trays
  • Create and manage work schedules for staff
Supervisory Duties

Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.
