Position Overview

The role of the Food Service Supervisor at Living Water Resorts involves overseeing the culinary operations within our establishment. This position is essential for ensuring that our guests receive high-quality dining experiences.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work Environment

The work setting is primarily within a hotel, motel, or resort environment, where attention to detail and guest satisfaction are paramount.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement methods to effectively meet work schedules.
  • Order necessary food and kitchen supplies to maintain operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the ingredients and supplies needed for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that all food and service adhere to quality control standards.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Prepare and submit necessary reports related to operations.
  • Compile food order summaries for the chef's review.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the culinary genres offered by the establishment.
  • Oversee the assembly of trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position involves supervising a team of approximately 3-4 individuals.

Experience Requirements

Ideal candidates will have between 1 to 7 months of relevant experience in a similar role.
