About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at JJBG Holdings Inc. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
    • Train and develop staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Establish and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service, ensuring consistency and excellence in every aspect of food preparation.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports, providing accurate and timely financial information to support business decisions.
    • Develop and implement effective inventory management systems, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer complaints and concerns, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
    • 1-2 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Work Environment and Conditions
    • Fast-paced food service environment, with a high level of activity and noise.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent lifting and carrying of heavy objects.
