Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at JJBG Holdings Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates to optimize food service operations.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Demands
    • Physically demanding role requiring manual labor and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Client-focused and team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
Working Conditions
  • 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
