Job Summary

EMCO Corporation is seeking a skilled DZ Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a delivery vehicle, loading and unloading materials, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Load and unload materials at customer and vendor locations, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues or discrepancies in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any issues encountered.
  • Collaborate with the Profit Centre Manager and Warehouse Supervisor to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in areas such as material handling and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; college and/or university degree an asset.
  • Valid DZ driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
  • 3+ years of experience driving a truck and making deliveries.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations governing driving motor vehicles and commercial vehicles.
  • Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle and material handling equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing or building products sold at the Profit Centre.
  • HIAB Boom experience.
