Join our team as a Material Flow Logistics Coordinator. We are seeking a dedicated professional to support our logistics operations at Volkswagen Group. Our mission is to lead the transformation of mobility, focusing on sustainable practices and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient logistics processes tailored to our operational needs.
  • Collaborate with local and central teams to ensure seamless logistics planning.
  • Develop comprehensive strategies for material flow and coordination in partnership with various stakeholders.
  • Assess staffing requirements for different operational phases.
  • Optimize resource allocation to enhance productivity while controlling costs.
  • Work in tandem with production teams to synchronize logistics with manufacturing timelines.
  • Explore and integrate technological advancements to improve logistics efficiency.
  • Coordinate with IT departments to ensure logistics systems are effectively integrated.
  • Proactively identify and address potential challenges in logistics operations.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at continuous improvement in logistics practices.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of logistics strategies and processes.
  • Implement best practices across the organization.
  • Engage with various departments to foster collaboration and communication.
  • Assist with additional tasks related to organizational rollout as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics planning, preferably in a large-scale organization.
  • Demonstrated expertise in material flow logistics and industrial engineering.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
  • A global perspective with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience in battery logistics is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Proficiency in German is advantageous.
