Join Our Team as a Material Flow Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Material Flow Logistics Coordinator to enhance our operations. This role is essential in streamlining material flow processes within our facility. Key Responsibilities:

  • Adapt and implement standardized logistics processes to optimize internal material flows efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Collaborate with local and central operations teams to ensure seamless logistics planning.
  • Develop comprehensive plans for coordination processes and material flow designs in partnership with our ramp-up teams.
  • Assess workforce requirements for various operational phases.
  • Optimize resource allocation to enhance efficiency while controlling costs.
  • Work closely with production teams to synchronize logistics strategies with manufacturing timelines.
  • Identify and deploy technological solutions to improve logistics and material flow operations.
  • Partner with IT departments to ensure integration of logistics systems with factory management platforms.
  • Proactively identify and address potential risks in logistics and material flow processes.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in logistics planning and execution.
  • Maintain precise and current documentation of logistics strategies.
  • Implement best practices within our facility and beyond.
  • Engage with various departments to foster collaboration and efficiency.
  • Assist with additional organizational tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a logistics planning role, preferably in a large-scale organization.
  • Demonstrated expertise in logistics material flow planning or a related discipline.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • A global perspective with a customer-focused approach and strong relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in battery logistics is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Proficiency in German is advantageous.
