Position Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Part-time Office Administrator. This position is perfect for a university student who is entering their second year and is looking for a part-time role (5-10 hours per week during the academic year) with the potential for full-time hours in the summer. You will excel in this position if you are a proactive and positive individual who enjoys both remote and in-office tasks.

Primary Duties:

  • Training Coordination: Facilitate training sessions for new employees both in-person and online, address inquiries, and ensure all necessary employment documentation is collected, organized, and monitored.
  • Onboarding Preparation: Assemble welcome packages and personal protective equipment (PPE) kits for new team members.
  • Stock Management: Oversee and inventory supplies as required.
  • Administrative Assistance: Conduct reference verifications, manage office machinery (such as printers and scanners), and support various administrative initiatives and projects.

Candidate Profile:

  • Educational Background: Currently enrolled in your second year of university, preferably in a Human Resources or Business Administration program.
  • Work Experience: Previous experience in an office administration role within a digital environment is advantageous.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Google Suite applications is preferred. Experience in customer service roles is a plus.
  • Geographical Requirement: Candidates should be local to the Windsor/Essex or Chatham-Kent area as some in-office presence will be necessary.
  • Personal Attributes: Resourceful, optimistic, solution-focused, with strong communication abilities and a talent for collaborating effectively with others.
