Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and resourceful Part-time Office Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for a university student entering their 2nd year, seeking a part-time position (5-10 hours per week during the school year) with the possibility of full-time work during the summer months. You’ll thrive in this role if you are a positive and solution-oriented individual who enjoys both online and in-office work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Group Training Management: Lead new hire training sessions both in-person and virtually, answer questions, and ensure all employment documents are received, uploaded, and tracked.
  • New Hire Preparation: Prepare welcome and PPE bundles for new hires.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and count inventory as needed.
  • Administrative Support: Perform reference checks, operate office equipment (printer, scanner, shredder), and assist with various administrative tasks and projects.

What We’re Looking For:

  • University Enrollment: Currently entering your 2nd year of university, ideally in an HR or Business Administration program.
  • Experience: Prior office administration experience in a computerized environment is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Google Suite applications is preferred. Experience in customer-facing roles is an asset.
  • Location: Must be from Windsor/Essex or Chatham-Kent as some in-office work will be required.
  • Attributes: Resourceful, positive, solution-oriented, with excellent communication skills and a knack for working well with people.
