We are seeking an experienced Commercial Banking Director and Group Lead to join our team at Scotiabank.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Senior Client Relationship Managers, Client Relationship Managers, and Associate Group Leads to achieve business objectives.
- Develop and execute tactical plans to drive business growth, client acquisition, and retention.
- Provide expert guidance on credit skills, financial analysis, and risk management.
- Collaborate with the Associate Group Lead to enforce sound credit principles and internal standard operating procedures.
- Manage a team of direct and indirect reports, including Client Service Specialists and Credit Analysts.
- Expert sales management, relationship building, and leadership skills.
- Strong commercial banking experience and knowledge of Canada's financial services marketplace.
- Tactical planning skills and implementation/management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle stress.
- Opportunity to report to the Vice President and Head, Commercial Banking.
