Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Coordinator to join our team at ComForCare Home Health Care - Halton. As a Business Development Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing our marketing program and business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Operations: Manage our marketing operations, establish and implement marketing initiatives to meet agency goals.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with managed care companies, government agencies, and other payers to ensure optimal reimbursement.
  • Market Assessment: Establish systems for consistent market assessment and develop a marketing plan to meet agency goals.
  • Referral Source Management: Establish and maintain mutually beneficial working relationships with current and potential referral sources and payers.
  • Pricing Negotiation: Negotiate pricing with insurance case managers and other payers within acceptable standards of practice.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate with the management team in strategic planning activities to identify opportunities to improve services and better meet customer needs.
  • Market Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Agency's markets, key referral sources, and position in the market related to competitors.
  • Community Resources: Develop and maintain information on available community resources and assist customers and staff in accessing services or information.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports of marketing activities and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with clinical staff to assure consistent message to the customers and the community.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in healthcare management or marketing, preferably in home health care.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements and restrictions in home health services.
  • Supervisory Skills: Demonstrated supervisory and negotiation skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrated organizational skills, flexibility, assertiveness, and team orientation.
