Position Overview

The Infrastructure Project Manager holds a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations to ensure that contractual standards are achieved in a cost-effective, safe, and efficient manner. This position is crucial for driving revenue growth through organic development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain structured administrative systems and methodologies to fulfill contract obligations concerning quality, safety, procurement, cost management, scheduling, and estimating processes.
  • Proactively address issues affecting contract requirements and facilitate timely solutions; share methodologies that foster systemic improvements.
  • Lead, manage, and coordinate project team members to cultivate teamwork and ensure optimal performance. Provide direction and proactive management to create a cohesive and sustainable team environment, integrating company values into team development and performance.
  • Adhere to Company Risk Management, Quality Assurance, and Safety protocols, including compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Establish and nurture effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Oversee planning, estimating, procurement, and financial responsibilities to maximize cost-benefit outcomes.
  • Collaborate with designers and manage the regulatory and Fire/Life/Safety approval processes.
  • Monitor financial performance, conduct analyses, and prepare performance reports with recommendations for management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding legal, financial, safety, and administrative matters.
  • Contribute to the development, review, negotiation, and implementation of subcontractor and supplier agreements to optimize contract returns.
  • Establish metrics for measuring contract performance.
  • Champion the safety of all project personnel, promoting a positive safety culture through personal example and strict adherence to safety policies.
  • Develop and maintain a partnership-oriented relationship with customers, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of their needs and fostering a customer service culture throughout the project.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements to mitigate potential legal challenges.
  • Contribute positively to a diverse, inclusive, and equitable work environment, free from discrimination and harassment.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor rehabilitation activities to ensure project goals are met, including O & M Manual development, design review, planning, and facility/system acceptance.
  • Prioritize safety, completing work in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Extensive knowledge of asset management in facility maintenance, repairs, and operations.
  • Experience with project management principles and their application in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong negotiation, coordination, and planning skills, along with excellent analytical and communication abilities.
  • Highly organized and self-directed, capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a strong customer focus.
  • Proficiency in standard engineering and MS Office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Project, as well as CMMS applications.
  • Heightened safety awareness and the ability to identify hazards in routine and non-routine tasks.
  • Ability to effectively communicate safety instructions to co-workers.
  • Capability to maintain focus on safety in various work situations.
  • Willingness to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • As a supervisor, lead by example and encourage compliance with safety protocols.
  • Willingness to meet specific project contractual obligations.
  • Ability to pass required training as needed.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Required).
  • Professional Engineering License (Highly desired).
  • 5-10 years of industry experience, including facility management or supervisory roles (Required).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Required).

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Office and field environments, subject to varying temperatures.
  • Minimal travel required.
  • 24/7 operations may require occasional holidays, nights, and weekends.
  • Work may involve activities over and around water, at heights, and in confined spaces.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting may be necessary.
  • Work may occur in traffic conditions.

Physical Requirements

  • Minimal reaching, bending, squatting, and walking.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
