This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead the management of infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and other support staff.
- Coordinate and manage the work of contractors and suppliers.
- Monitor and report on project progress, including identifying and mitigating risks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other key partners.
- Manage and control project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Ensure that all project activities are carried out in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve project delivery, including process improvements and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, construction management, or business administration.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the infrastructure sector.
- Professional engineering license (PE) or equivalent certification.
- Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and direct teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other key partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of environments, including office and field settings. The role will require occasional travel and may involve working in hot and cold temperatures, as well as in tight spaces.
The ideal candidate will be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
