Position Overview

As a key leader in our organization, you will oversee the daily operations of infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with contractual standards while maintaining cost-effectiveness and safety. Your role will focus on driving revenue growth through strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement structured support systems and methodologies to fulfill contract obligations related to quality, safety, procurement, and cost management.
  • Proactively address issues affecting contract requirements and develop solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams to foster collaboration and high performance, while promoting company values and professional development.
  • Ensure adherence to risk management, quality assurance, and safety protocols in accordance with relevant legislation.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Oversee planning, estimating, procurement, and financial management to maximize project benefits.
  • Collaborate with designers and manage regulatory approvals related to safety.
  • Monitor financial performance and prepare analytical reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies regarding legal, financial, and safety matters.
  • Contribute to the negotiation and implementation of subcontractor agreements to optimize contract returns.
  • Establish metrics for evaluating contract performance.
  • Promote a culture of safety and ensure the well-being of all project personnel.
  • Develop strong customer relationships that reflect a partnership approach and address client needs effectively.
  • Comply with all legal requirements to mitigate potential challenges.
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment, free from discrimination and harassment.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures in all duties performed.
  • Monitor rehabilitation activities to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Prioritize safety in all work activities.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of asset management in facility maintenance and operations.
  • Proven experience in project management principles and adaptability to changing environments.
  • Strong negotiation, coordination, and planning skills, with excellent analytical and communication abilities.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with a focus on customer service.
  • Proficiency in standard engineering and MS Office software, including project management applications.
  • Demonstrated safety awareness and the ability to identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Effective communication of safety protocols to team members.
  • Ability to maintain focus on safety in various work conditions.
  • Willingness to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Commitment to fulfilling project contractual obligations.
  • Willingness to complete advanced training as required.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (required).
  • Professional Engineering License (highly desired).
  • 5-10 years of industry experience, with a background in facility management or supervisory roles (required).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required).

Work Environment

  • Combination of office and field environments, subject to varying temperatures.
  • Minimal travel may be required.
  • Availability for occasional holidays, nights, and weekends.
  • Work may involve heights, tight spaces, and traffic conditions.
  • Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and minimal reaching or bending.
