Position Overview

The role entails a leadership position responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure that contractual standards are achieved in a cost-effective, safe, and efficient manner. The focus is on enhancing revenue through organic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain administrative systems and methodologies to fulfill contract obligations related to quality, safety, procurement, cost management, scheduling, and estimating processes.
  • Proactively address issues affecting contract requirements and facilitate timely solutions; share methodologies that promote systemic improvements.
  • Organize, direct, and manage project team members to foster teamwork and ensure high performance. Provide leadership and proactive management to create a cohesive and sustainable team environment, aligning with company values.
  • Adhere to Company Risk Management, Quality Assurance, and Safety policies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Oversee planning, estimating, procurement, and financial responsibilities to optimize cost-benefit outcomes.
  • Collaborate with designers and manage regulatory and safety approval processes.
  • Monitor financial performance, conduct analyses, and prepare performance reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies regarding legal, financial, safety, and administrative matters.
  • Contribute to the development, review, negotiation, and implementation of subcontractor and supplier agreements to maximize contract returns.
  • Establish metrics for measuring contract performance.
  • Ensure the safety of all project personnel and promote a positive safety culture through personal example and compliance with safety policies.
  • Build a customer relationship that reflects a partnership approach, demonstrating a solid understanding of customer needs and fostering a customer service culture.
  • Comply with legal requirements to avoid challenges.
  • Contribute positively to a diverse and inclusive work environment, free from discrimination and harassment.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor rehabilitation activities to ensure project goals are met, including manual development, design review, and facility acceptance.
  • Prioritize safety in all work activities.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • In-depth knowledge of asset management in facility maintenance and operations.
  • Experience with project management principles and their application in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong negotiation, coordination, and planning skills, along with analytical and communication abilities.
  • Highly organized and self-directed, capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a customer-focused attitude.
  • Proficiency in standard engineering and MS Office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and project management applications.
  • A strong sense of safety awareness and the ability to identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Effective communication of safety instructions to colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain focus on safety in various work conditions.
  • Willingness to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Leadership by example in promoting the correct use of PPE and adherence to safety rules.
  • Flexibility to meet specific project contractual obligations.
  • Willingness to undergo necessary training.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (required).
  • Professional Engineering License (highly desired).
  • 5-10 years of industry experience, including facility management or supervisory roles (required).
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record (required).

Work Conditions / Physical Demands

Work Environment

  • Office and field environments with exposure to varying temperatures.
  • Minimal travel required.
  • 24/7 operations with occasional requirements for holidays, nights, and weekends.
  • Work may involve heights, tight spaces, and traffic.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting may be necessary.

Physical Requirements

  • Minimal reaching, bending, squatting, and walking.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
