Position Overview:
BMO Financial Group is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Vice President to spearhead the Interest Rate Derivatives Sales division. This role is pivotal in driving the sales strategy for Institutional Clients across various sectors, including Insurance, Pension Funds, Asset Management, Government Entities, Banks, and Hedge Funds.

Key Responsibilities:
As a leader in the Institutional Sales team, you will:

  • Lead the sales efforts for Interest Rate Derivatives, ensuring comprehensive coverage of Institutional Accounts.
  • Deliver a full suite of trading solutions and market insights to clients, enhancing their investment strategies.
  • Foster and maintain robust relationships with clients, understanding their investment needs and aligning our services accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide seamless client service, addressing inquiries and fulfilling requests efficiently.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base and increase revenue.
  • Utilize analytical skills to assess market trends and client portfolios, ensuring optimal pricing and risk management.
  • Drive cross-selling initiatives to enhance client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Support the development of client-focused solutions, leveraging financial expertise and market knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards while managing the firm's risk exposure.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of market developments and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in capital markets, with a focus on financial derivatives.
  • Strong understanding of pricing, sales, trading, and hedging strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple client relationships.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on building positive client relationships.
