Senior Vice President - Manufacturing Industry

Quantum, a distinguished leader in the manufacturing sector, is in search of a Senior Vice President to assist the business owner in navigating the transition as he nears retirement.

This role comes with a competitive base salary, a significant performance-based bonus, comprehensive health benefits (including medical, dental, and life insurance), along with additional incentives.

As the Senior Vice President, you will become an integral part of a well-established organization and will play a pivotal role in shaping its promising future.

The company operates across four divisions: two in manufacturing, one in import, and one providing OEM value-added services.

You will oversee a workforce of over 100 employees, with direct reports in Sales, Manufacturing, and Finance, preparing to take on the CEO role upon the owner's retirement.

The Senior Vice President (SVP) will report directly to the CEO and will manage all operational and strategic facets of the organization, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and fostering growth across all divisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to formulate and execute strategic plans aimed at achieving corporate objectives and enhancing profitability.
  • Financial Oversight: Assess financial performance and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational efficiency and profitability across business units.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to a diverse team, including Vice Presidents of Manufacturing, plant managers, production managers, and heads of finance, manufacturing, and sales.
  • Accountability and Performance: Implement systems to ensure teams are held accountable for their performance, promoting operational excellence and compliance with quality standards.
  • Regularly evaluate performance metrics and financial reports, offering insights and recommendations to the CEO and board of directors.

A Master of Business Administration (MBA) or an equivalent advanced degree is required (this is non-negotiable).

Proven experience in senior leadership roles, including managing large teams within an organization or through business ownership, is essential.

A successful history of establishing KPIs, strategic planning, and execution to drive business growth is crucial.
