Position Overview

The Head of IT Operations will spearhead the technology vision and provide strategic program management to create a cohesive, end-to-end business automation IT framework. This role involves evaluating the existing capabilities of March Networks' IT environment and ensuring its progressive development across all IT domains: Business Applications, Infrastructure, Networking, Help Desk, and Cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will formulate a new strategy aimed at enhancing internal self-service capabilities and implementing a robust competitive e-commerce strategy that aligns with MN's VaaS and SaaS product initiatives.

This position demands extensive experience in technology leadership across IT infrastructure, business applications, and cybersecurity, coupled with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

The responsibilities also encompass overseeing all IT projects, managing IT resources, and administering capital and operational budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define, implement, and maintain the IT Strategy for March Networks.
  • Critically assess the IT strategy to ensure it delivers business value and enhances operational efficiencies, including the establishment of self-service options.
  • Facilitate a cultural shift within the organization to leverage services that reduce costs and enhance revenue.
  • Oversee all IT operations and implement changes to boost the efficiency of the IT team and improve user experiences.
  • Manage timelines, content, and costs associated with IT projects to guarantee timely execution.
  • Provide strategic insights to the management team regarding technology and business process enhancements that could significantly improve operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure alignment of IT objectives, solutions, and resources with the broader company strategy and business goals.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT operations.
  • Develop, implement, and manage enhancements to the IT strategy that maximize current investments in tier 1 application platforms.
  • Oversee ongoing initiatives related to Customer Self-service and E-Commerce solutions, including the phased rollout of StaxBill and integration with core business systems.
  • Establish and update policies regarding IT infrastructure, desktop, and field device requirements to ensure secure operation and effective budget utilization.
  • Ensure secure and efficient use of the company's voice, data communications, and video collaboration networks.
  • Align IT risk management policies with industry standards to safeguard network communications and data integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, such as GDPR, PCI DSS, SOC-2, ISO-27001, and SOX.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Develop and present business cases to senior management for technology and process implementations supporting cross-functional initiatives.
  • Manage vendor relationships for sales, service, and support of IT systems and tools.
  • Advance initiatives to enhance March Networks' cybersecurity posture and maintain certifications.
  • Define and execute the company's cloud strategy to support professional services and new product offerings.
  • Recruit and develop IT personnel in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in Information Technology, including product development and implementation, with at least 8 years in senior-level IT management roles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, including virtualization, IaaS, cloud backup, disaster recovery, and unified communications.
  • Expertise in managing software solutions for ERP, CRM, E-Commerce, and Middleware.
  • Broad knowledge of technologies such as .Net, databases, SQL, ETL processes, and web services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with data processing methods and computer software systems.
  • Understanding of systems design and development processes, including requirements analysis and IT operational management.
