Job Summary

The Head Baker will be responsible for overseeing the baking process, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation. This includes preparing dough and batters, baking mixed goods, and decorating cakes and pastries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough and batters for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders
  • Bake mixed dough and batters
  • Prepare special orders, including wedding and specialty cakes
  • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
  • Operate machinery, including mixers and ovens
  • Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
