Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Head of HR Operations to spearhead the efficient delivery of HR services and drive our strategic objectives. As a key member of our HR team, you will lead the design and implementation of our HR shared services model, optimize processes, and enhance analytical capabilities to support labor spend and talent management goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and oversee the HR shared services model, processes, policies, and resources to ensure effective delivery and execution of transactional HR activities.
  • Develop and implement processes, HR systems, and frameworks for accurate management of employee data to support the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes.
  • Oversee the review of HR procedures and determine the most efficient and effective execution of HR activities.
  • Act as an HR liaison and representative for cross-functional projects involving HR systems and policies.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8-10+ years of progressive experience in HR, with at least five years as a people leader managing a team of high-performing HR professionals.
  • Experience implementing and optimizing an HR shared services model to meet the users' needs in the business and to enhance the employee experience.
  • Expertise in HR systems and a strong technical aptitude, with the ability to drive the capabilities of our HCM software.
  • Expert in data management and analysis, with the ability to draw insights from data to drive decision-making.
  • Considerable knowledge in Employee Relations and ESA legislation and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of provincial labour standards as they relate to payroll in all provinces.
