Head of the Canadian National PET Centre

The University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine is in search of a Head for the Canadian National PET Centre. This role involves steering a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional cardiac imaging services while spearheading innovative research projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct a diverse team to uphold the highest standards in patient care and research
  • Manage the operations of the PET Centre, which includes advanced imaging technology
  • Participate in research endeavors that lead to significant publications and enhance clinical practice

Required Qualifications:

  • FRCPC certification in Cardiology or an equivalent qualification
  • Completion of Level 3 fellowship training in Nuclear Cardiology
  • Eligibility to practice medicine in Ontario

The ideal candidate will possess a robust academic foundation with an emphasis on impactful research. Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual in French and English.
