Position Overview:

The role involves providing exceptional service to hospital personnel, contractors, and visitors by addressing their inquiries and requirements, thereby fostering a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and distribute photo identification badges for hospital staff, contractors, and visitors, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Execute various administrative duties, including data management, documentation, and record-keeping. Offer assistance to the security department as required.
  • Facilitate and manage dispatch operations, which includes responding to communications, prioritizing requests, and efficiently allocating resources.
  • Collaborate closely with the security team to maintain safety and security standards, ensuring compliance with all operational procedures.
  • Keep accurate records of issued identification badges and related documentation, ensuring adherence to hospital policies.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a dispatch capacity, ideally within a healthcare or similar setting.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a knack for managing multiple responsibilities and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly and accurately.
  • Ability to operate under pressure and respond promptly to urgent situations.
  • Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proof of double Covid Vaccination.
  • Immunization Record (measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and TB skin tests 1 and 2).
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Level C Certification.
  • Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB). Candidates lacking these certifications may enroll in Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to onboarding to meet the position's requirements. Please note: The UoF/MOAB training is unpaid as it is a prerequisite, but Paladin will cover all training costs with a six-month commitment to the position.
