Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and needs of hospital personnel, contractors, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Generate and distribute photo ID badges for hospital staff, contractors, and visitors, adhering to established protocols.
  • Conduct various administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and maintaining precise records. Provide assistance to the security team as required.
  • Facilitate and manage dispatch operations, including responding to calls, prioritizing requests, and efficiently allocating resources.
  • Collaborate closely with the security team to uphold safety and security protocols, ensuring compliance with all procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of issued badges and related documentation, ensuring adherence to hospital policies.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a dispatch role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and respond promptly to urgent situations.
  • Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proof of double Covid Vaccination.
  • Immunization Record (measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and TB skin tests 1 and 2).
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Level C Certification.
  • Must provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB).
  • Applicants without these certifications may enroll in Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to onboarding to meet position requirements.

Important Notes:
The UoF/MOAB training is unpaid as it is a prerequisite; however, Paladin will cover all training costs with a commitment to the position for six months.

Education Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED

Certification Requirements:
Vulnerable Sector Check, Immunization Record, Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
