Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting hospital personnel, contractors, and visitors with their inquiries, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Generate and distribute photo ID badges for hospital staff, contractors, and visitors, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Execute various administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and maintaining precise records, while providing support to the security team as necessary.
  • Assist in coordinating dispatch operations, responding to calls, prioritizing requests, and efficiently deploying resources.
  • Collaborate closely with the security team to maintain safety and security standards, ensuring compliance with all procedures.
  • Keep accurate records of issued badges and related documentation, ensuring adherence to hospital policies.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in a dispatch capacity, ideally within a healthcare or similar setting.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a knack for managing multiple tasks and effective prioritization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly and accurately.
  • Ability to operate under pressure and respond swiftly to urgent situations.
  • Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proof of double Covid Vaccination.
  • Immunization Record (measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and TB skin tests 1 and 2).
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Level C Certification.
  • Must provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB).
    • Applicants without these certifications may enroll in Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to onboarding to meet position requirements.
    • Please note: The UoF/MOAB training is unpaid as it is a prerequisite; however, Paladin will cover all training costs with a six-month commitment to the position.
