About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Dispatcher to join our team at ASL Distribution Services Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and supplies between departments, ensuring seamless logistics and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Activities: Work closely with other departments to coordinate activities, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods and supplies.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Resolve Work Problems: Identify and resolve work problems, providing technical advice and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Perform Clerical Duties: Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Monitor Supplies: Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and logs, including work schedules and procedures.
  • Establish Schedules: Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse and Production Units: Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and supplies.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a post-secondary education in a related field, such as logistics or supply chain management.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a logistics or supply chain role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as database software and electronic scheduling tools.
