Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage division by implementing effective procedures and processes.
  • Enhance guest experiences while nurturing team members into skilled hospitality professionals.
  • Ensure that the hotel restaurant and bar deliver service that surpasses customer expectations.
  • Guarantee that all hotel banquet events are executed according to the established Banquet Event Order.
  • Develop, train, and communicate the service vision and standards to team members.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef, General Manager, and Corporate Director of Food and Beverage to devise and implement an innovative culinary strategy.
  • Create an annual strategic plan aimed at boosting guest satisfaction, team engagement, and food and beverage revenue.
  • Exhibit exceptional leadership through hands-on involvement with team members.
  • Ensure food and beverage budgets and targets are met or exceeded.
  • Deliver service aligned with our vision of creating remarkable experiences.
  • Facilitate team meetings to discuss objectives and foster collaboration.
  • Be an inspiring and inclusive leader.
  • Foster a fun and supportive work environment where team members are encouraged to do what is right.
  • Manage the daily leadership of the front-of-house food and beverage operations.
  • Address and resolve all guest concerns and complaints.
  • Coordinate with all supporting departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Our Ideal Candidate...
  • Has a passion for food and beverage, guest service, and hospitality.
  • Possesses experience as a Food & Beverage leader, ideally in a full-service hotel setting.
  • Exhibits an energetic personality with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences.
  • Utilizes a hands-on approach to training and leadership.
  • Possesses strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
  • Is organized, results-driven, and has proven time management abilities.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Holds a diploma or has completed post-secondary education in hospitality (an asset).
  • Is motivated to deliver experiences that exceed guest expectations.
  • Maintains current Food Safe and Smart Serve certifications.
  • Is available to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
