Position Overview

Reporting to the Vice President of Indigenization (VPI), the Manager of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (EDIB) will oversee the execution of the College's EDIB, accessibility, and Indigenization objectives. This role is essential in supporting CNC's commitment to a safe and diverse educational environment and workforce that reflects the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with various departments to embed Indigenization, EDIB, and accessibility principles throughout college operations.
  2. Engage closely with senior leadership, faculty, staff, and student organizations to cultivate an inclusive culture that fosters respect and engagement.
  3. Act as a primary liaison with programs, departments, and leaders across the institution, working to promote, advise, and advocate for inclusive practices.
  4. Contribute actively to the achievement of the College's vision, mission, and goals while addressing the aspirations and needs of learners.
  5. Encourage a positive workplace environment by maintaining professional interactions that reflect mutual respect with students and colleagues.
