About the Team & Business Line:
Fund Administration is the cornerstone of Citco's operations, renowned for delivering exceptional alternative asset and accounting services. Our dedication to investing in technology and continuous learning empowers our team to provide an unparalleled client experience.
As an integral member of our Private Equity team, you will collaborate with some of the most skilled professionals in the field, delivering award-winning services tailored to complex fund structures that our clients rely on.
Your Role:
- Oversee the preparation of monthly net asset values, including cash and portfolio reconciliations, income and expense accruals, partner/shareholder allocation calculations, and financial statement preparation.
- Maintain and manage the general ledger along with various sub-ledgers.
- Prepare and review trial balances and work papers.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of client services.
- Engage with senior management and clients regularly.
- Take overall responsibility for client relationships and meetings.
- Develop plans for onboarding new clients and managing transitions.
- Coordinate and oversee the external audit process.
- Process capital calls, distributions, and statements for private equity accounts.
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and clarify transaction processing requests.
- Provide clients with technical accounting and industry insights.
- Collaborate with various groups within Citco, including Operations, Tax, Investor Relations, and Financial Statement teams.
- Review partnership agreements, private placement memorandums, and other relevant documents for private equity fund clients.
- Implement fund structures within the accounting system.
- Work closely with the P&L team on valuations and price analysis.
- Prepare ad hoc reports as required.
About You:
- You possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (CPA designation is a plus).
- You have over 4 years of experience in fund accounting, specifically within a Private Equity Fund, Private Equity Administration, or a similar financial institution.
- You are experienced in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements.
- You demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and have supervisory experience.
- You possess project management skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You are proficient in MS Excel and MS Word; familiarity with the SunGard Investran PE accounting platform is highly desirable.
