About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration stands at the heart of Citco's operations, with our alternative asset and accounting services recognized as among the best in the industry. Our dedication to investing in technology and continuous learning ensures that our team members provide exceptional client experiences.

As an integral part of our Private Equity team, you will collaborate with some of the most skilled professionals in the field, delivering award-winning services tailored to complex fund structures that our clients rely on.



Your Role:

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly net asset values, including: Cash and Portfolio reconciliations, Income and Expense accruals, Partner/Shareholder allocation calculations, and Financial Statement preparation.
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and various sub-ledgers.
  • Prepare and review trial balances and work papers.
  • Manage the timing and quality of client deliverables.
  • Engage with senior management and clients.
  • Take overall responsibility for client relationships and meetings.
  • Establish plans for new client setups and transitions.
  • Coordinate and oversee the external audit process.
  • Process capital calls, distributions, and statements for Private Equity accounts.
  • Respond to client inquiries via outbound calls for clarification on transaction processing requests.
  • Provide clients with technical accounting and industry insights.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Tax, Investor Relations, Financial Statement groups, and other teams at Citco.
  • Review partnership agreements, PPMs, and other relevant materials for private equity fund clients.
  • Implement fund structures within the accounting system.
  • Interact daily with the P&L team regarding valuations and price analysis.
  • Complete ad hoc reports as required.


About You:

  • You possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (CPA designation is advantageous).
  • You have over 4 years of fund accounting experience within a Private Equity Fund, Private Equity Administrator, or a financial institution that has provided you with a solid understanding of financial products.
  • You are experienced in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements.
  • You demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and have supervisory experience.
  • You possess project management skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You are proficient in MS Excel and MS Word; familiarity with the SunGard Investran PE accounting platform is highly desirable.
